What is Covered?
Every knife we manufacture and assemble is done with precision and care to provide the user a lifetime of performance when properly cared for. Should one of our knives fail to meet the functional requirements of such a tool, Dead Reckon Knives will restore it to factory functionality at no charge to the customer.
What isn’t Covered?
Not covered by this guarantee is any product that has experienced the following:
- Disassembly. This knife design uses specialized tools for repairs/ servicing and disassembly should only be performed by Dead Reckon Knives. The sealed bearings used in this system protect the knife from dirt and debris that builds up through normal use and only require oil regularly. Any attempt to disassemble the knife by the user will void the warranty.
- Normal wear and tear including scratches, dings and discoloration of coated surfaces that do not impact operation of the knife.
- Neglect or abuse of the product including exposure to harsh environments without thoroughly cleaning and oiling the blade and pivot.
